The mindful breathing workshop

For many years I worked in an office, behind two huge screens and spent many hours sitting in a stressful environment.

Fifteen years, to be exact, in which I traded in securities and communicated with banks and trading departments in Israel and around the world.

Needless to say, such a lifestyle is both very tiring and very abrasive, physically and mentally, and results in damage to both the body and the ability to breathe. The body lacks energy, is worn out from too much stress, and the back gets a stiff and bent pattern - which makes breathing even more difficult.

When I finally moved on to teaching yoga, I knew I had to take care of myself as well and especially the people who are in the situation I was in every day. That is, I built the breathing workshop for companies, which provides simple, effective, and very applicable tools that can be used both in the workplace and at home.

These are short, focused, and very clear workshops - giving information about what it actually means to be stressed and what the physical price we pay when we experience stress frequently, physically and mentally, what the breathing process is, how breathing can help you deal with stress and how sound and visualization can also be used as excellent tools to improve the situation.

 

Instead of getting worn out for years, instead of spending time and money on medications and treatments - you can now learn some great ways to use the tools we already have, to deal with this stressful reality effectively. 

What do you learn in the workshops?

  • Stress  -  What causes it and what are its effects on the physical and mental state.

  • The process of breathing - how it happens in the body and how it can be used to cope with a demanding lifestyle.

  • Breathing techniques - learning and experiencing a number of effective breathing techniques from the world of yoga, which are used as an effective tool to calm the system.

  • Sounds - Techniques from the world of yoga for using sounds - another important and effective tool for dealing with stress effectively.

  • Physical exercise - we will learn and experience a number of sitting exercises from the world of yoga, which is used as a tool for lengthening and easing breathing. 

  • The workshops are suitable for anyone, even those who have never practiced yoga or conscious breathing.

  • The workshops can be conducted online via Zoom or at the company's complexes.

  • The workshop lasts about 2-2.5 hours and is held in Hebrew or English.
